Teaching Reading the Ways the Brain Learns

The mission of IIRS is to increase student reading proficiency by engaging families in literacy and by empowering teachers to design and implement tiered systems of reading support that provide superior instruction in reading skills, quickly identifies and remediates students with reading difficulties, and challenges thriving readers using research-based, intensive interventions. Reading systems developed use innovative, research-based interventions and teaching techniques, with emphasis on continuous quality improvement using data driven decision making from assessments.
