To Produce lifelong learners who use their basic skills to succeed in their roles as workers, family members, and citizens

Mission

To make basic adult education accessible to residents of Coffee County, Tennessee

About

Founded in 1988, the Literacy Council funds these activities with donations, grants, and it's fundraising arm, The Book Shelf, a used bookstore operated primarily by volunteers who sell high-quality donated books.
